Wind Resist

Wind Resistance is a defensive attribute, and affects a character’s ability to mitigate damage from incoming Wind based attacks or spells. While Wind Resistance sounds similar to Magic Resistance, it is more akin to Block or Parry, as it reduces the damage players receive from Wind based attacks and spells, rather than preventing the damage all together. As players increase their Wind Resistance, they will receive less damage from Wind based attacks and spells.

Wind Resistance is a situational attribute. Wind Resistance can be useful when fighting enemies or players that inflict damage with Wind based attacks and spells, though it provides no benefit versus other types of damage.

A high Wind Resistance attribute may be important in certain situations, such as when fighting a Named Monster or player that uses Wind based attacks and spells.
