Water Resist

Also known as: Water Resistance

Water Resistance is a defensive attribute, and affects a character’s ability to mitigate damage from incoming Water based attacks or spells. While Water Resistance sounds similar to Magic Resistance, it is more akin to Block or Parry, as it reduces the damage players receive from Water based attacks and spells, rather than preventing the damage all together. As players increase their Water Resistance, they will receive less damage from Water based attacks and spells.

Water Resistance is a situational attribute. Water Resistance can be useful when fighting enemies or players that inflict damage with Water based attacks and spells, though it provides no benefit versus other types of damage.

A high Water Resistance attribute may be important in certain situations, such as when fighting a Named Monster or player that uses Water based attacks and spells.
