Mini-Map

The Mini-Map allows you to view your current location, nearby enemies and NPCs, and also points of interests. The outside ring of the Mini-Map is a Compass. The button on the right of the Mini-Map opens your full sized Map (M) and the left button displays the Month/Day/Year/Hour (Day or Night). You can hover over any of the dots, arrows, or other icons on the map to view the Target’s Name, Level, Altitude, and Distance. Selecting Aggressive Monsters will add their field of vision to your Mini-Map. This can be very handy in avoiding detection when passing by.

Details

Here are some of the more common icons you will see on the Mini-Map. You will also see others when you are in towns that represent things such as Obelisks and Mail locations. The blue wings on the Mini-Map pictured above represent an Obelisk.

- Green dot with Yellow Arrow: Your location. The icon will change to Blue wings if you are in flight and will change to Red wings if you reach a fatal altitude.

- White dot: Passive Monsters & Players of the same Faction

- Red Dot: Aggressive Monster

- Green Dot: Normal NPC

- Blue Diamond: Group Members

- Yellow Arrow: Campaign NPCs

- Blue Arrow: Quest NPC

- Purple Arrow: Pathfinding location

- Gray Arrow: Nearby Points of Interest
