Is this your first time in Inggison?

When you arrived in the Inggison Illusion Fortress, you ended up right in the middle of a Dredgion attack and had to prove yourself, didn't you?

I know you accomplished great things in Elysea, [%username]. So I hope you will give your best here as well.

Let me explain what you need to know about the situation in Inggison.

You nod.

The fortress in Inggison was our first base in Balaurea.

Currently, we are focussing on the Balaur counter-attack, but we will defeat them soon and then be in a position to tackle the Asmodians in Gelkmaros.

To ensure victory, however, we not only have to fight the Balaur but also make sure we have sufficient Aether.

Do you want to know what you mission will be, [%username]?

Versetti will brief you on your objectives in Inggison.

You end the conversation.

Hm... I like your determination.

I see you bear [%mainslotitem]. You have a keen eye for weapons, it would seem.

Good, you look like you are up to the task.

If you want to help us, you had best familiarise yourself with the work of the Wisplight Legion. I'll explain everything, so listen carefully.

Do you know how the Inggison Illusion Fortress was built, [%username]?

You reply that you do not know.

My legion built the Inggison Illusion Fortress in a single day! Usually, it takes months or even years to construct a fortress this size.

Lord Kaisinel bestowed a great honour upon us. That is why we are here.

Would you like to know more? Good, then I'll elaborate.

We are pursuing three key objectives here in Inggison. Our first is to ensure that the surroundings of Inggison Illusion Fortress remain stable. Secondly, we use chaos magic to confuse the enemy, and thirdly we are responsible for the Aether supplies.

Speaking of Aether supplies... I intend to entrust you with repairing and erecting the Obelisks.

You ask what an Obelisk is.

In case you hadn't heard, Inggison suffers from a shocking shortage of Aether. Most of the Daevas' skills are useless here because of it.

We are keeping a Fragment of the Tower of Eternity at the centre of the Illusion Fortress. We use it to make Aether. The Obelisks are supposed to distribute the Aether throughout Inggison.

However, one of the Obelisks urgently needs repairing, and the other hasn't even been set up. That's where you come in.

You don't have to go far from the fortress, so it shouldn't be any trouble for you.

Please insert the new Aether Wave Stone to repair the broken Obelisk, and then set up a new Obelisk on the platform we built.

You keep listening.

You can find the broken Obelisk in the southern part of the forest. Just look for the Overheated Obelisk.

Once you have repaired the broken Obelisk, erect a new one on the Obelisk Platform.

Most of the work is already finished. All you have to do is mount the Obelisk on it.

As soon as we've erected the Obelisks, the Balaur won't be able to approach any more due to the sheer power of the Aether.

You end the conversation.

(A device that flashes intermittently.)

(It emanates weak Aether energy. It appears to be the Obelisk.)

(Replace the orb in the middle with the Aether Wave Stone that Brigade General Versetti gave you.)

You replace the orb with the Aether Wave Stone.

Frankly, I never imagined you would do such a great job!

You don't need to give a report, I already know. I can sense the flow of Aether changing.

Marica, the one in charge of all work to do with the Obelisks, is already raving about you. Are you sure you've never done this kind of work before?

You're a natural! Don't let it get to your head, though.

Have you settled down a bit in Inggison yet?

You say that this area still feels unfamiliar, and that you hope to become accustomed to it soon.

It looks like someone finally sent me a capable Daeva.

We rely heavily on the Obelisks here in Balaurea, but of course there are many more vital things to do in Inggison.

In Inggison, you never know when you're going to encounter Balaur. But these ones are different to the Balaur in the Aetheric Field. Just like our powers.

Remember that and stay on your guard.

Completion:

Brigade General Versetti assigned you your first mission in Inggison. It involved repairing one Obelisk and setting up another on the Obelisk Platform.

You carried out Brigade General Versetti's orders and reported your accomplishments to him. He thanked you and advised you to be especially careful in this region.
