Also known as: Physical Defense
Physical Defense is a defensive attribute, and affects a character’s ability to mitigate physical damage inflicted by melee and ranged attacks. Characters with higher Physical Defense attributes will receive less damage from physical attacks.
Gladiators and Templars tend to have the most Physical Defense of all the classes due to their ability to equip Plate Armor and Shields.
A high Physical Defense attribute is important for any character playing the role of tank or protector, though any class that routinely receives physical damage can benefit from more Physical Defense.
