Spell Fortitude

Spell Fortitude is a defensive attribute, and affects a character’s ability to mitigate damage inflicted by critical hits from magical attacks. Spell Fortitude reduces the damage inflicted by critical hits from magical attacks. The amount of damage reduced from each critical hit increases based on the amount of Spell Fortitude the character possesses.

Many classes can benefit from Spell Fortitude, more so in PvP. Classes like Gladiators and Assassins, who tend to have fewer defenses against magical attacks, can benefit from Spell Fortitude to mitigate critical hit damage inflicted by classes like Sorcerers and Spiritmasters.

A high Spell Fortitude attribute is most important for classes that have fewer defenses against magic attacks, in particular when engaging in PvP combat. However, all classes can benefit from more Spell Fortitude.
